He likes its flexibility and resistance.
In 2010, randomly coming across this unique material, Ivan starts playing with the light, giving the bamboo organic shapes and using perforations to let the light shine through.
Constantly learning he decides to travel to Colombia to understand better
the growth of this plant, ‘Guadua’ (a variety of bamboo which reach more than 15 cm of diameter), its characteristics and possibilities.
When Ivan comes back he decides to design lamps inspired by the places he visited.
